A tin cup for a chalice

A great ride today. Friday I am off, kids at school I get to sleep till 9:00, leisurely breakfast. And I am off out west Asheville down to the river. As I am riding along thinking off how I have never had a flat tire. I read other peoples journals and they always have flats. But me never! Well till now. Ten minutes after thinking this I thought something was caught in the spokes tat, tat, tat, tat. I stop and look the back tire is as flat as a fritter.Things are not all bad though I like having Quick release tires so it comes right off. I try pumping it up but no such luck.It needs oil. The only oil I have is sun tan oil but it works. I find the hole it patches nice the pump works fine got 35 psi in it enough to get me to a store for air. But first I stop by the botanical gardens at UNCA. They are having a plant sale part of me wishes I was not on a bike but I did save .Though I almost strapped a pink lilac on the bike.
Went uptown for while right before you get to wall street I notice they put up a new statue of a ballerina. When I came back around it had changed postions well she moved cool.
I tried to take pictures but I left the card at home I take another ride at sunset though to make up for it. Made 36 miles today
I have so much more to say but my eyes are blurring so .
Bye for now.
